The Ritar DC12-100 12V/100Ah battery is a high-performance, maintenance-free lead-acid battery designed to provide reliable backup power for a wide range of applications. Whether you’re using it for an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), solar system, or emergency backup, this battery delivers consistent and dependable performance. Moreover, its valve-regulated design ensures safety and ease of use without the need for frequent maintenance.
With a 20-hour rate capacity of 100Ah at 25℃, the Ritar DC12-100 offers ample power storage to meet the needs of even the most demanding systems. Notably, the battery is built with six high-quality cells and delivers a nominal voltage of 12V, making it ideal for a variety of uses.
In addition, it boasts a design life of up to 12 years, ensuring long-term value and performance, especially in standby power applications like UPS systems.
The Ritar DC12-100 performs efficiently across a range of discharge rates. For instance, it delivers 75.0Ah at C₃, 85.0Ah at C₅, 95.2Ah at C₁₀, and the full 100.0Ah at C₂₀. These varying discharge rates make it adaptable to short- or long-duration power requirements. As a result, the battery can be used effectively in both high-drain and steady-load situations, offering flexibility for diverse energy systems.
When it comes to charging, the DC12-100 battery is both safe and efficient. The float charging voltage ranges between 13.6V to 13.8V, while the cycle use voltage ranges from 14.6V to 14.8V, both at 25℃. Additionally, the UPS Battery features temperature compensation of -3mV/℃/Cell for float use and -4mV/℃/Cell for cyclic use, which helps maintain optimal charging in different temperature environments. Consequently, this extends battery life and improves charging efficiency.
One of the standout features of the DC12-100 battery is its wide operating temperature range. The UPS Battery can safely discharge from -20℃ to 60℃, and charge from 0℃ to 50℃, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor setups. Furthermore, it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -20℃ to 60℃ without performance degradation. This temperature resilience makes it a great choice for harsh environments or fluctuating climates.
Another key advantage of the DC12-100 battery is its low self-discharge rate. At 25℃, the monthly self-discharge is less than 3%, allowing for up to six months of storage without the need for recharging. However, to preserve battery health, it’s recommended to recharge after extended storage periods. Therefore, this low-maintenance feature is especially useful for backup systems and seasonal equipment.
Physically, the Ritar battery is built to last. It weighs approximately 63.5 lb (±5%) and is housed in a durable ABS container that meets UL94-HB standards, with UL94-V0 as an optional upgrade for enhanced flame retardancy. In terms of connectivity, the Ritar battery comes with default F12 (M8) terminals, while F15 (M6) and L4 terminals are available for customization. Thus, it offers flexibility for installation across various systems.
Lastly, the Ritar battery is capable of handling a maximum discharge current of 1000A (for 5 seconds) and a maximum charging current of 30.0A, which speaks volumes about its high-performance capabilities. As a result, it can efficiently support heavy loads and fast charging cycles, making it an excellent choice for both standby and active power solutions.
